Wine and Dine

There is something about fall weather that brings out my fondness for rich foods and full-bodied red wines. J and I were recently introduced to Smidge wines while dining at Shade. Since then, I have been on a mad hunt to find this label in area wine shops, even going as far to correspond with the ever-so-friendly owner, Matt Wenk.

My personal favorite is the 2004 Zinfandel, The Tardy. You can order online through Grand Wine Cellar. I hear their Shiraz is pretty tasty as well.
