Serious eye candy from my new favorite shop in Houston, Found. Lots of industrial and French influences mixed to perfection. Oh, and it smells good in there, too.
oh Paige, it's more that 5k - it's really, really expensive!!!!
You beat me to this. Last time I was there, I didn't have my camera. You know my daughter's tutor is in that building. to the right, in the remodeled apartments. a bunch of interior designers have space upstairs. I just love that whole complex.
Jo: Come! I'll take you around and give you the grand tour. It's so different than all the preconceived notions, I promise. We aren't all hicks and most women do NOT have pagent hair.
Alyson: Isn't that amazing! My personal favorite is the big square cabinet in the second to last picture. It's an old explosion proof cabinet or something cool like that. It has the most amazing handles and spring loaded doors - I want it to be my bar!
Paige: No, you can buy a candle for $50. I don't think the prices are that absurd. Yes, lots of pricey pretties, but overall cheaper than Installations. Main difference between the two shops: Found isn't strictly industrial like Installations...their French pieces and junky items are what makes it not as pricey. You need to visit. Weekly.
Honestly, it isn't fortunes. I think they are fairly priced for industrial pieces....they're expensive no matter where you go! I can promise they are cheaper than NY industrial/antique shops...and I bet they'd ship!
I was destined to be a part of the creative world—between my early obsession with Fashion Plates and declaration at a young age that Jem was more hip than Barbie, it was just a matter of time until my fondness for design became a career. A Louisiana native, I moved to New York and led the wholesale divisions for Hollywould and Jill Stuart, as well as designed with couturier Ralph Rucci. With my husband and our furry daughter, Burkly Deluxe, we embarked on a few years of overseas adventures in Malaysia. We are now back Stateside “Inside the Loop” in Houston, Texas.

Too cool! I'm going to put it on my list to visit in May!
Love every item! The French chairs...the urns...the wooden balls...the cage tables, and esp. those great industrial stools. Does it cost fortunes?
