Jason Castro did it again by singing one of my favorite songs, Israel Kamakawiwo'ole's Somewhere Over The Rainbow. We heard this version several times during our vacation in Maui, and I am still instantly calmed by the ukulele.
Courtney, He did great didn't he!? I loved it! And look at y'all surfing... I'm so impressed! E's in Tallahassee with Justin on an install... we've decided we're going to change Justin's name to "Stefan" and get him some tight clothes and pennyloafers! Erika said he's really good! :)
That was the first song my husband learned on the ukulele! I love it every time. If you like uke, have you heard of Jake Shimabukuro? If not, it's worth a listen as I think you will like it ;)
I was destined to be a part of the creative world—between my early obsession with Fashion Plates and declaration at a young age that Jem was more hip than Barbie, it was just a matter of time until my fondness for design became a career. A Louisiana native, I moved to New York and led the wholesale divisions for Hollywould and Jill Stuart, as well as designed with couturier Ralph Rucci. With my husband and our furry daughter, Burkly Deluxe, we embarked on a few years of overseas adventures in Malaysia. We are now back Stateside “Inside the Loop” in Houston, Texas.
