It's a Wrap

Taking inspiration from her sketchbook, Virginia Johnson creates prints using watercolors on paper. She is a Canadian clothing/textile designer who has designed accessories for Helmut Lang and illustrations for Kate Spade. I'm currently coveting her lightweight cotton scarves.

These are great! I'm trying to go 30 days without wearing any black (except shoes), I need all the help I can get!

Oh, Dolce, I LOVE that challenge! I am all for color. The more, the merrier. Let me know how it goes!

Oh yes --- I do LOVE her designs! I managed to snag a tunic when I was still living in Canada on super discount, but it has since bit the dust. And so I will continue to visit the website, willing it to give us a sale!

okay, clearly I did not actually use the link or else I would have seen that the big sale sign is calling my name.

Great. Just great.

Little Miss: What happened to your tunic that made it bite the dust. I hope it wasn't poorly constructed! Perhaps just lots of wear? Which in that case, order another from the sale section :)

30 days without black would be impossible for me, and I like to think I wear color a lot! What a challenge. I really like the green scarf!

Miss Courtney,

On the upside, I suppose, it was worn to death. But I have yet to throw it out as I keep thinking I could patch it -- but, being a single sheer piece of cloth, this would look ridiculous.(some of the other pieces are reinforced and/or have a lining, but this was the sheer option.)

I'm rationalizing the sale prices as we speak.

Spring pretty much ALWAYS convinces me that my pale ass would look bright colors, and my red obsession has reared its head. yet. again. Three cheers!
