Under the Hat
I think its pretty safe to say I have a clear fascination with Millinery and this slowly fading craft. Today I added another hat to my growing collection of toppers. Saks is currently having its In-Store Preview Sale and I couldn't help but scoop up this Lola Half Nelson. I love a mean hat - especially one that can effortlessly rock straw and leather.

Oh dear -- I love it! In fact, I'd admit to being slightly millinery obsessed, except most don't fit my oddly shaped head (I'm not a "one size fits all" really.)
Is this saks sale open to everyone? Only in stores? By invitation only? I might just have to drop by...
I have decided I want to become a hat person. A great little millinery shop opened up down the street from me and you've inspired me to go in and stop feeling like I am not cool enough to rock a pretty hat.
Little Miss: I'm not really a O/S Fits All gal either since I have a small-ish head. But, there is a hat shop down the street from me, so I'm thinking of having them add another layer of grosgrain on the inside band to help it fit a tad better. It won't be anything monumental, but I think it would be just enough so I don't feel like it would fall down on my eyes.
The Saks sale, I believe, is open to everyone, in the store. Because it's a Preview Sale, you have to pay for your item and then go back tomorrow to pick it up. Or, you can just wait until Thursday to shop. If they don't have Lola hats at your Saks, look on Lola's website and it will show you all the Saks that carries their line. You can always call one of the Saks and order from the store. The hat is gorgeous in person! I have a feeling I'm going to be a Lola addict.

I love the Lola website! I wish I looked good in hats, they look like great on other people, but I feel like I'm trying too hard in hats.
