If you're looking for a quick hors d'oeuvre for your next party, Crostini with Sun-Dried Tomato Jam seems like it would be a sure-fire winner. And incredibly easy to make!But if you're craving something special for Sunday brunch, Giada's Carbonara is the humdinger of all recipes. Asparagus, basil aioli linguini, shaved pecorino and fried eggs - how can it not be perfection? Only downfall: I predict this recipe would most definitely put you right back to sleep!

There should be a "blogging law" against posting pictures of food at 4:42 CST! My mouth is watering and I'm out of eggs and aspargus.
Everday Italian and Barefoot Contessa are my two favorite Food Network shows. Any recipe of Giada's I've ever tried has turned out to be delicious.
Pretty funny, my mom must have seen this too because we had this last night for dinner. Except she made salmon in lieu of the eggs. The crostini are delish!
Cant wait to get home to try one of these recipes out!
Oooh love the sound of the crostini!
Giada = fab!
I was watching "everyday italian" one day, and Giada mentioned that exact carbonara is one of her favorite dishes! I haven't tried the recipe, but anything with a fried egg looks yummy to me :)
Darby: I thought I was doing better. Last time I posted about cakes at 10AM...at least I waited until after lunch, no? :)
J: I'll make you a deal. You come home early, I make eggs and linguini. Whatcha think? Miss you!
Sarah's Fab Day: I LOVE that your Mom made these after seeing the show. She's my kinda woman. I also love how she altered the recipe. Sounds so yummy!
Krissy: I'm with you on the egg. Add an egg, I'm all in!
