Last night in a barrage of emails between me and the lovable Erika of Urban Grace, she told me I must participate in Reclaiming Miss Havisham's Things We Save posts. Leslie wants to see your most sentimental possessions and what keeps your house from looking like another Pottery Barn showroom. So, come out of the closets and quit hiding your hoards - send in those pictures! It's a blast to see what some of us [apparently me considering I'm now known to be quite the crazy] are collecting and holding on to.Erika's been to my house, so she knew I was a prime candidate for showcasing my awkward acquisitions. You can see all of my glorified trash and treasures here! The writing's on the wall.

Oh! You're the one who was in those posts from Erika about that pilgrimage or walkabout or whatever it was that you did! It's all coming together now.
Oh yeah and I totally meant to make a snarky comment in my post about LSU but I forgot so I'll do it here. Oh man my freshman year at Tulane I had one of "you people" as a roommate. We weren't allowed to speak during the football games on TV and her side of the room was covered in those damn Geaux LSU stickers.
I don't really have anything that bitchy to say about it but the Tulane in me just wants to make fun of you.
Thanks again for participating and thanks mostly for being so weird!
so freaking lovely!
Leslie: LSU people are obnoxious, I know you must know this, right? :)
I am the Courtney Erika writes about. We met through our blogs and decided it would be a good idea to take an RV - and our husbands - on a road trip to Round Top, TX. It was the most insane fun I've ever had. Who know strangers and blog stalkers were such a hoot?
Since I posted about your "Things We Save," I'm hoping you get more wackos sending in photos. You know, birds of a feather....I must have some readers that can make me look normal.
OMG! I love it!
Great stuff! Any chance you have the details on that beautiful paint color in your dining room?
Technicolorsarah: Of course! It's a super bright and cheery color by Sherwin Williams called Meander Blue, SW 6484.
I love your house Courtney, seriously you are such a doll!
I loved that post too!!
if it is ever discovered that your pearl collar necklace has a twin i need to be contacted immediately! as always, love your individuality and the reflection of you in your adorable home!
Great home pictures... loved seeing where you live and all of your unique and lovely cherished items!
What a fun post topic!
Your house is seriously amazing to the point of intimidating, Courtney! It really is such a reflection of your personality. You have such a knack for making all kinds of random objects work together.
P.S. I tagged you. :)
