On a High Horse

Erin of Elements of Style has a great post on Mecox Gardens and their fabulous merchandise. When I spotted Lord Denver's Prize Horse "Aditoc" segmented prints, I immediately began thinking of ways to save $4 grand for this Triptych. He needs a good home!

I know a way that you can afford it... You get the rear, I'll buy the middle, and someone else can buy the head. then we can make giant photocopies and share the parts with each other.
Only kidding... I hope the artist doesn't read your blog!
I would never.

Wow, I loved that bit from the posting too. I would totally put that horse in my house. Maybe I'll take the head..?

I think you could totally make that. find a poster, cut it up and frame it up. I love that look.

Looking at it again, I think y'all are totally right. This could be made (no offense to the lovely artist!). And Krissy, Erika telling me I get to take the "rear" sent me into hysterics, too. You're not the only one.

Benson: Sorry Mr. Ed freaks you out. I think he has such a beautiful, regal quality to him. So calming to me. I love how differently art can be interpreted! To each is their own, eh?!

Beautiful! So simple and classy. FOUR GRAND? Sigh. Maybe someone will replicate it on Etsy for cheaper.
