In a Land Far, Far Away

...is a house built in 1978 that's seriously calling my name. This quiet getaway is located in the wine country of Slovenia and just 2 hours from the Croatian seaside. It is utter perfection.

The view is breathtaking...

Sure, the interior needs a little fixing up, but it has great bones. Would be a cinch to renovate...

Well, if you're into European charm I guess it's okay?

I've heard that this part of Europe will become THE destinations in the not too distant future and I can see why! Now if the American dollar could just stop being the new Peso!

Lovely, lovely, lovely!

Ahhh --- in the mood for a big fat reno, no?

I feel your pain. I couldn't close my eyes without imagining exactly what I would do to the various houses we saw this past week in Austin.

So I research. Endlessly. Which will come in handy considering I'm joining you fabulous blogging ladies...

(It's a little slow over there, I'm still starting out!)

so, I went to Walmart and got the airbrushed tees for our Slovenia vacation. They read "Slovenia or Bust!" on the front, and on the back they say "Croatia 2009"
