In my head, I'd envisioned it being all Martha-ized with the sheets lining up just so. Well, that's not how it happened at midnight last night, but at least they're no longer creeping from underneath my guestroom's bed. Even our scrap towels fit with plenty of room to spare!

I'd never have thought 2 shelves would bring me so much joy! Next up: installing a kitchen window awning.

Dude, what shelves? I'm DROOLING over your washer and dryer.
Sweeeeeet set-up.
wow! It looks great! and yeah- nice washer and dryer :)
oh, I have laundry envy.
OK allow me to explain about the washer & dryer...
After 4 months of looking at houses and losing 3 contracts to flippers, we found this house. It was perfect for us and I went crazy. I "glanced" at all of the appliances and assumed they were brand new [trust me, I've learned from my idiotic self]. Before we closed, I sold our perfectly good washer and dryer that we had been using for years. We then moved and did our first load of laundry with the set that was left in the house for us.
Ummmmm, these suckers were about 20 yrs old and the dryer emitted enough heat to send the house up in flames. After 3 loads, we went out and bought new ones that same day. So, yes, they are nice, but it is only because I was too spastic to pay attention to important things like APPLIANCES from the get-go.
One positive: our painter took the old set in trade for painting my interior! I even threw in a new bottle of detergent.
amazing how things like shelves bring so much excitment when you have your own place isn't it! - thats right - you are getting black and white window awning - seriously jealous!!!!
Oh, I know how important two shelves can be, when you live in a small house. It can change the dynamic of your home.
I am a sucker for laundry...everything associated with it...from the detergents to the drying racks...Your set is just so perfect...and fits right in...
I always told my husband it didn't matter, who cares, what's the point, they still work, about my basic white Sears washer and dryer..but oh my!! I love these--and I've even got laundry room cabinets to go with them. I wonder if I would do more laundry?
Looks beautiful! And I am an appliance freak, love the W/D set. It all looks great!
trust me when I say the great thing about those shelves is that I don't have to trip on the bags that would creep out from under the bed and tried to trip me every time I walked in the front bedroom...the washer and dryer are nice, I just wish it had a button that reads, "FOLD" MANNN that would be awesome!!
now you've got me thinking. we have a lot of wasted space above our washer and dryer and i've honestly never thought about going UP. sometimes i cannot see past the end of my nose. I swear.
