- I was destined to be a part of the creative world—between my early obsession with Fashion Plates and declaration at a young age that Jem was more hip than Barbie, it was just a matter of time until my fondness for design became a career. A Louisiana native, I moved to New York and led the wholesale divisions for Hollywould and Jill Stuart, as well as designed with couturier Ralph Rucci. With my husband and our furry daughter, Burkly Deluxe, we embarked on a few years of overseas adventures in Malaysia. We are now back Stateside “Inside the Loop” in Houston, Texas.

I truly have a knee high boot obsession and these would be the perfect flat pair to have this fall. When does the fall actually arrive in Florida....not soon enough!
I'm obsessed with grey boots for fall...
I have had my eye on those Dorado low boots for, like, ever. I keep wishing the fall boot fairy would visit my house and leave me a pair under my pillow (and a pair of Fiorinitini + Baker, too) but no such luck!
I'm emailing Santa about the knee highs. I know it's the beach, but I must figure out a way to make them work here. Need to find my thinking cap. I think I lost it somewhere about 9 years ago.
Those high boots are like a dream! A size 11 without a heel, you've ended my 3 year search.
