That aside, I want that dress and the coat, but they don't seem to be on the website! Am I just missing them? We just got a Crewcuts here and the stuff is actually cuter in person. My poor checkbook!
Kate: A lot of times it takes the Internet a while to get the catalog pieces online. Keep checking back or let the store know what you're looking for. I would be in some kind of trouble if I had a Barton Jr. to dress in these duds. My goodness these are some cute kids. And as long as I was dressing them in the holy of all holy colors [ahem, purple and gold], J wouldn't care what it cost :)
I thought I spied some CrewCuts over here. Hey, if you ever come down on an Erika visit and you happen to have a bambino [or one on the way], you must know that a NEW CrewCuts Outlet has just opened in our town. I was very naughty over there last week. It's right next to the JCrew outlet, so I'm always double bad.
Ahh! LSU is my honorary root-for team. I've got a bunch of connections there, and to LA, so when I'm watching SEC football, they're who I cheer for. Big 12 is my home conference tho. Oh my gosh, only a couple more weeks until the season starts ohmygosh. (can you tell I'm a big fan of college football?)
Football in the SEC is like a soap opera. My oldest brother and I went to UT (Go Vols!). Both my parents went to Miss State for undergrad and Southern Miss for Grad but we're from Natchez, Miss so almost everyone in that area were all LSU fans. My fella grew up a UT fan but is now in law school at Bama. At least we're all good sports about it!
Although I went to school at Tulane, I have been inducted as an honorary LSU fan by my New Orleans friends....in fact we were at LSU this weekend, dropping of a friends little sister for her freshman year...
although my favorite part of the game is the fried pickles at walk-ons...delish!
I was destined to be a part of the creative world—between my early obsession with Fashion Plates and declaration at a young age that Jem was more hip than Barbie, it was just a matter of time until my fondness for design became a career. A Louisiana native, I moved to New York and led the wholesale divisions for Hollywould and Jill Stuart, as well as designed with couturier Ralph Rucci. With my husband and our furry daughter, Burkly Deluxe, we embarked on a few years of overseas adventures in Malaysia. We are now back Stateside “Inside the Loop” in Houston, Texas.

There is a CrewCuts outlet in Destin now? OMG, I'm going to be broke...that's all there is to it. My poor wallet!
My Dad went to LSU and my Mother went to Ole Miss! Football season is very interesting at our house!!
War Eagle! We will be in Auburn for the game on the 20th. My husband and I are a divided house though; Auburn and Alabama. Are y'all?

No divided family here - I often wonder if my husband would have married me if I didn't hail from Tiger Land!
I have to...ROLL TIDE!
Found your blog through Urban Grace Interiors...LOVE IT!
