Let's Get Physical

For the third [or fourth, fifth or sixth] day in a row, it's raining and the humidity is out of control. This kind of weather makes me drowsy, so today I'm being inspired—and motivated—by this active and adorable girl. And in my little daydream, I'm also fully clad in the newest Stella McCartney for Adidas collection.

oh if only i could afford stella's stuff. only when they go on sale do i consider spending so much on active wear. my mom did teach me that you should never exercise in something that makes you feel frumpy, since that way, when you're finished, you'll feel fit, healthy and happy and not drowning in a baggy top.

Okay, so that second image down on the right, would be very interesting to see someone excercise in that!? JJ would would definitely be claiming 'the girls are loose!'.

it cracks me up! they're beautiful and ridiculous. luckily none of those models are really doing anything, so they won't ruin that expensive and unpractical "athletic" atire. ;)

I absolutely agree with Emily of Cupcakes and Cashmere, you should never exercise in something that makes you feel frumpy from the get-go. We all work out to feel uplifted, healthy, fit, and overall good about ourselves. That said, no, you do not need to be wearing $300 jackets to do so...all within your own means, of course!

I've been very lucky to find pieces from this collection on sale at great price points ($50 and under) and truth be told, this collection is nothing short of top notch. The fabrics used are primarily high performance, such as ClimaLite®, and as pretty as the clothes are, they're made to work for you during very active activities. I love that a designer has found a way to make working out feel beautiful and inspirational! Whatever motivates and keeps someone engaged in athletic activity is always a winner in my book, be it the clothing or the actual sport :)

when i'm working out, i look homeless. The pretty gold jacket would not work out with my old tie-dyed t-shirt and man sweats
