Let's Pretend

...that we're randonneurs for a day or perhaps we've taken off on a mid-morning jaunt to the Shaker Square Farmer's Market. Afterwards we'll absorb the last bit of summer and partake in a late night game of Scrabble, but rising early to read the Sunday paper.

I've become obsessed playing make-believe with Even*Clevland's stylish and explorative outfit themes, and I'm thrilled to have been her most recent muse as a scooterist.

Right now I'm pretending I lived near Cleveland, where we'd meet up with riding pals Stephanie and her husband Sean, along with Burkly Deluxe and Nora-bean in sidecars, of course. We'd eat too much gelato, laugh till our stomachs hurt, and get home well past our bedtimes. What fun!

The first one looks like heaven! I could live in the blue and yellow dress.

Aw, man! I'm blushing - this is too sweet of you! Seriously, Houston is TOO far away. We need to get that gelato!

I love your style, Courtney.

You now officially have the coolest vehicles of anyone I know between your vintage Mercedes, your adorable bike, and your gorgeous new Vespa. Lucky gal! ;)

Such cute ensembles! Do you a lot of shopping online?

Courtney said...

Lauren: I would say half and half. I find that I turn to online shopping when I'm looking for something specific, i.e. rainboots, swimsuits or something by a particular brand like Karen Walker or Loeffler Randall.

Seriously? NO...SERIOUSLY?!?!? Did you really have to introduce me to Polyvore? Crap! I'll really never get anything done now! Dammit!

How much cuteness can be created? Such great "story boards", Courtney. :) And you as muse? Does that really come as any surprise?

I haven't been able to get that blue and yellow dress off my mind. Who makes it?

Courtney said...

Katie Lake: That's the Sea Board Dress by Marc by Marc Jacobs. Call around to the MJ boutiques - I bet it's on sale now! Best of luck. xx
