This past weekend was quite different from others. I opted for life in the fast lane and participated in a Motorcycle Riding School. From Friday afternoon to Sunday evening, I spent grueling hot hours clad in requisite head to toe gear, complete with gardening gloves for that extra touch. I present incriminating evidence Exhibit A and B:
I managed to graduate and make it out unscathed, even learning a few tricks of the trade like emergency stops and snappy Figure 8s.
It was all worth it because I'm finally comfortable driving the newest addition to my "bike" collection. A little birthday surprise and a little something to scoot around on, my new Vespa definitely gets my motor running! My model is the LVX, a 150cc scooter that re-introduces the trademark Vespa styling and features from the 50s and 60s models, and I couldn't be more in love. She's both flirty and sleek and as my muse once said, I can get 70 miles to the gallon on this hog!
Oh, and her name is Frah-Gee-Lay. Because she's Italian.
