Weave a Tangled Web

These necklaces remind me of the countless hours at summer camp where I'd weave, fold and knot plastic gimp thread into 3-dimensional lanyards and keychains. If I could recall half the skills, I'd try my hand at these intricate beauties...

I spent hours and hours weaving as well. What great memories.

I still remember those lanyards from when I was a child at camp many, many years ago, and strangely enough, I REMEMBER HOW I MADE THEM. Court, we can have a class next time you are home. We also covered wire coathangers, made key chains and bracelets. I was a STAR in the Arts & Crafts pavillion.......ummmm, not so much in the sports arena.

These really almost look crocheted or like tatting(not my forte either).

You're right Mom...they sort of look like tatting! I am just in love with everything this line does. And I love that she's in Singapore.

Hey, if you want a macrame' (sp?) neck-o-lace, Momma can give you a class on that too; how many of those pot hangers did we have?;-)

These are so awesome! They look like the necklaces on the DvF runway (similar).
