Step Into Christmas
Without a doubt, Christmas is my favorite time of year. People are lively and no matter where you are, happiness and shiny things abound. Things that make December special to me:
• white twinkling lights throughout the streets.
• hot chocolate morning, noon and night.
• tinsel.
• wrapping paper and ribbons are given the attention they deserve year round.
• smelling trees and garland inside my house.
• the Boehm porcelain nativity set my Uncle gave to me.
• finding the absolute, spot-on perfect gift for loved ones.
What makes you excited to step into Christmas?

My dad's birthday is Christmas Eve and my sister's is Christmas Day so it was always a big holiday at our house growing up. Even with the economy and all the problems, Christmas gives you permission to forget those things for a little bit.
great list...i'd also add listening to christmas carols (on my own time...not in endless mall stores). sipping apple cider while watching christmas movies is also a fav!

Perfect list! I will add driving around to look at Christmas lights, watching holiday movies, and listening to Christmas music non-stop (my husband doesn't quite share my enthusiasm for Christmas music though...)
And this song makes me excited to Step into Christmas too! ;) My brother and I love to blare this one (and I told you on your previous post- I love Christmas music- I've had to stop myself from going back to add more comments to that post with additional favs!!)
I absolutely adore watching all the Christmas cartoons. Can't help it...it brings out the kid in me. My favorite is The year without a Santa Claus with the miser brothers! Gotta love those songs.

Gingerbread anything- gingerbread cookies, gingerbread houses, gingerbread lattes. Nothing says Christmas to me like this ubiquitous holiday treat!
