In the late 50s, a number of Fiat 600s were shipped to the Italian design house Ghia for conversion into the Jolly. They featured wicker seats, had the option of a fringed top to block the Mediterranean sun, and could accomplish speeds of 59 mph while achieving gas mileage of 52 mpg—the Jolly was the ultimate shore dingy. With a cost of nearly double that of a 600 model [$1760.00 compared to $998.00], the rich and famous such as Aristotle Onassis, Yul Brynner and Patrick McGoohan would load them onto their yachts for use as beach buggies. The darling Jollys were made in a very limited production and it's believed fewer than 100 exist today. It's a party on wheels!

There are a couple of people around Palm Beach who have cars like these but I'm pretty sure they started out as regular little cars - I know one has pink and white stripe awning cover and wicker seats - very appropriate for around here.
I could frankly care less about most cars but this break m'lil heart with all its stylish cuteness! Indeed, Miss Courtney...the cutest flippin' car EVER!
You can own a Jolly for about $60K. Best place to get one is at auction.
Turquoise and floral padded seats, please. The perfect surrey with the fringe on top! What time will it be ready for pick up?

One would be perfect for cruising around in our little beach town. And my very first car was a vintage Fiat Convertible, so it would be sentimental.
the blue one steals my heart!
I believe this morning I heard on the radio that GM + Fiat have merged and new Fiats will be sold in the USA! Maybe they can make a cute eco-friendly version!
It's like part golf cart, part car, part sitting on my porch. Love it!!!!
I want one!
The pink and red, to die for! I thought the Nissan Figaro was pretty darn cute, but this takes the cake!
Didn't Tina Turner have one of these? I am off to find the photo now. I just love the wicker seats. MB

Lately I have developed a stong interest in owning a small vintage european car...this would totally fit the bill.
