My Aunt's 1957 wedding sure looks like it was one swell party!

i love everyone with their ribbon for the charm cake. i had one at my bridal brunch the morning of the wedding! i love that tradition.

Those are great pictures. I love the ribbons as well...they were so long!! If everybody pulled at once, that cake might have flipped over! :)

I love old photos! At our family reunion last year, my sister and I took home a handful of old photos to scan for keepsakes. I plan on enlarging and reprinting them one day.

What a fabulous affair!! Wonder what the cost was in those days to throw a big wedding? I am certain it was a fraction of the cost today! I love the bridesmaids dresses....do you know the color of them? I guess this was WBC wasn't it......way before courtney! Thanks for sharing...I loved it!
