Packed and Loaded

Excuse the fur balls and random trash, but here's a snippet of the action at 836 this week. We're officially packed and loaded—with no room to spare!

Courtney, this was making me a litle sad too. I know when one door closes another opens, but it still has to be tough.
Ms. B is so cute! Will she go ahead of you? When is the last official day?
Enjoy my friend! xoxo

Oh sweet friends, I certainly didn't want to make anyone sad with this video! Yes, empty houses are so empty and pitiful, aren't they. But I know our new home has a lot in store for us!!

Courtney,
This makes me a bit sad too. I remember how strange it was when we packed up our house in Texas to move to Los Angeles.

It is also very nice to hear your accent. My friends and I were talking the other day about the fact that although I am from Texas and have lived in Louisiana for more than 8 years, I have no accent at all. I hope you don't loose yours!

Best of luck on your new adventure,
Jessica

I'm going to miss 836! What a great adventure you are about to begin. Can't wait to read all about it.

(LOL on "my happy helper.")

AH! You brought tears to my eyes remembering our move 8 months ago. I want to say the adventure begins and embrace it. But I'm not a good example Germany has prioved to be harder on me than the rest of family. I think it's the language and the fact I'm not working for the first time in my adult life. But you are young and will be great experience. Best wishes!

Wow, this was strangely emotional for me, too!

Your little fam is just so precious, though, and I can't wait to see what the world has in store for you!

Courtney said...

Hi Holly, It's KWID Imperial Trellis in green. Even though I see it a lot in press pics, I've never tired of it. And I love the punch of color and pattern when I enter my tiny hallway :)

First time to hear your voice. Cool! Will the blogosphere be the same without you Inside the Loop? Nope. Hope you keep us tuned.

Wishing you a safe journey!!!

It's a bit heartbreaking to look at an empty house like that, but at least, as of now, can still walk back home into 836 in a few years! And poor Burkly... I can imagine her confusion over the last few weeks. Here's wishing her safe travels too!
