Photographer, designer, collector and master of all things creative, Cheryl Schulke is a genius at capturing the essence of an entire room in a single vignette shot. Here are a few of my favorite outtakes from the images she took for the Refueled photoshoot. Seeing snippets of my previous home in all its glory takes me on one heck of a trip down memory lane!
Yoli: It was my home in Houston. We moved from there 2 months ago and my home now looks nothing like this :) We're still in the "where should be put cleaning supplies" stage! Thanks for the compliment though. xx
I love these and I can see them framed and hanging in your new home! Thanks for sharing the wire info.....somehow I missed that post. Really these shots are amazing!
Courtney- this are beautiful shots! How fun it will be to add these shots to your new home walls. I like the first photo. Growing up our post office box number was 212. Many hugs.... xoxo
Hey girl, thanks for the shout out! I thoroughly enjoyed working with you and I'm so glad you posted additional shots. I'll be including these and more on my upcoming photography site. Always a pleasure =) Cheryl
Makes me homesick for all the times we had in that house with you and JJ! I am especially sad to see snippets of "my room" and remember all the good times we had together cooking, reading, hanging out, and of course, our shopping trips too. Can't wait for you to "come home" again!
Thank you all so so much! It's a good feeling to remember a previous home with such fond memories. I loved that tiny bungalow!!
Amber Smith: The dining room chairs are Bertoia chairs. You can buy them from Design Within Reach. Mine were salvaged from my parent's house and I had them chrome dipped - but you can also try your luck on eBay and thrift shops!
SO SO beautiful & lived-in feeling. I love the cool quirkiness the vignettes seem to have... You can tell you had fun & you have am AMAZING eye. LOVE every image!!
I was destined to be a part of the creative world—between my early obsession with Fashion Plates and declaration at a young age that Jem was more hip than Barbie, it was just a matter of time until my fondness for design became a career. A Louisiana native, I moved to New York and led the wholesale divisions for Hollywould and Jill Stuart, as well as designed with couturier Ralph Rucci. I have spent the last 4 years “Inside the Loop” in Houston, Texas. Now, with my amazing husband and furry daughter, Burkly Deluxe, we embark on our next adventure in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
