Queen of Fruits

I'm willing to bet heaven is pretty close to the taste of a mangosteen. Their peach-lychee like goodness fully deserves the 'Queen of Fruits' title.

Mangosteen 101: The more segments a mangosteen has the fewer seeds one will find, which can be predetermined by counting the sepal remnants at the bottom of the fruit. Happy eating!

My absolute FAVORITE! They are best ice cold! They are like a designers dream, I love the vibrant purple color contrast against the white fruit! Not to mention the flower shape on the bottom and their adorable shape,a nd the pre-sliced pieces inside....mmm.....

Very interesting. Do you have to peel the skin or just eat as a peach? I wonder if you can use this fruit to make a pie. Thanks for the Mangosteen 101. Enjoy my friend! xoxo
