This wine cellar designed by Steven Gambrel is the ultimate escape. Any photo/room that entices me to crawl underground [and next to a roaring fire] in this heat is worth toasting to!
Wow! That place looks simply magical! I would love to enjoy a lovely glass of wine, a cheese plate and a "pain chocolat" with some of my best girlfriends!
Pure Heaven! I'm off to the Clare Valley this weekend for a relax and I thought that was pretty good, but if this was located in the Valley and that was where I was heading? Perfection. I'll have a vino for you, promise.
PS - love the new blog banner/heading thing, fabulous xx
Sis: It totally has that Peasant vibe! I never noticed that but what a spot-on observation. And now I want olives and wine, too...and it's only 2:40PM and I'm sick with a cold. Not sure if olives and wine is what the dr. ordered.
I was destined to be a part of the creative world—between my early obsession with Fashion Plates and declaration at a young age that Jem was more hip than Barbie, it was just a matter of time until my fondness for design became a career. A Louisiana native, I moved to New York and led the wholesale divisions for Hollywould and Jill Stuart, as well as designed with couturier Ralph Rucci. With my husband and our furry daughter, Burkly Deluxe, we embarked on a few years of overseas adventures in Malaysia. We are now back Stateside “Inside the Loop” in Houston, Texas.
