This Messenger Delivers

Guest Post by Kelly Griego

In the early Aughts, I loved my nylon Kate Spade messenger so. I’ve recently wanted to trade in my tired old shoulder strap purses for the ease of a messenger bag. Call it a shake up for the new decade. I’ve got my sights set on Clare Vivier's beautiful leather messengers. Which, conveniently, can also be totes, perfect for when I [inevitably] change my mind again. And then in another 10 years, I can resurrect that Kate Spade and call it vintage.

Now, if only I could decide on a color...

i was just obsessing over claire's bags today. i am not a fan of heavy hardware on bags, so hers have really caught my eye.

i am kind of planning my first foray into her line- i want the largest size of the remake clutch, i love the contrasting zippers and i think it would be a go-to going out bag!

i want the messenger tote in gray for sure! but the navy is so nice too!

One of Clare's bags has been on my wish list for a while. If you subscribe to her blog (where you will see that every outfit she posts is pretty much perfect), every so often she posts a discount code.

Rebecca, thanks so much for the discount tip! I will (obsessively) look out for it.

May all of our Clare Vivier dreams come true soon!

Thank you so much for the introduction to this bag! I agree with Susan in that I don't like a lot of hardware on bags, too much metal draws too much attention. This also looks like the kind of bag that can be used from season to season which is always a big plus.
