I Feel Like a Natural Woven

I've always loved the look of natural woven jute rugs, especially when layered with other rugs like in designer Kristan Cunningham's living room.

But they usually feel quite rough, and frankily I have no use for anything remotely abrasive in my home. However on a desperate whim to break up our stark marble floors, I purchased West Elm's Jute Diamond Rug. We finally unrolled it last night and I nearly threw myself straight on top. It's seriously soft, thick and comfortable, and I do believe I've been converted to the jute side.

ooo it looks very fabulous. I love your whole place actually! Great photos.

And what a perfect "natural" inspired post for Earth Day. :)

I love my west elm jute--mine's a bit chunkier--not sure which one but supersoft as well.
West Elm delivers overseas? wow..who knew!

Bre: How I wish these photos were of my place. This is HGTV designer's Kristan Cunningham's fine home. Lovely layering, huh?!

Dressing on the Side: No, West Elm sadly doesn't ship overseas. But a friend recently relocated to KL and offered to kindly throw anything in their shipment for us, alas we transported a rug and fancy Caldrea hand soap. The small pleasures that one misses from home :)

I love this look too! Rugs make SUCH a difference in a space dont they?

Ha! Great post title. Very clever.

I was also wondering about the shipping overseas as my husband and I are just getting ready to relocate to Switzerland. Having lived in Switzerland once before, I completely understand the rug and hand soap in the shipment. Completely!
