I couldn't be more excited to see my baby's nursery featured on
Holly Mathis Interiors — though it's nearly unrecognizable without toy cars and musical instruments strewn about. As much fun as it was to curate a collection of travel souvenirs, childhood books, and favorite things for this sweet boy, it's even more thrilling to watch Ory grow and play in a space made just for him. Great memories are being made in this room!

Love the room! Loved reading about the room! xo
I've been DYING to see precious Ory's room - especially now that I am TRYing to get inspired to do one for my own bambino. This post did not disappoint - so rad! xx
*Be still my baby brain!*
I love the colors and decor. It is a room Ory will sure be able to grow with. LOVE...
Your use of color is FANTASTIC. So much fun! The wallpaper outside the door and rug are pretty much the coolest thing ever. So happy to see you blogging and happy to hear you are having fun raising your little one. I often feel like I virtually live in your, Meg and Erika's world--and it's all so brilliantly styled! Glad you are well. Devon :)
love!
Great job Court! Everything that you lovingly selected looks wonderful.
Louise is a little concerned that other girls might be requesting to spend some time with Ory in this marvelous room!
Great job, the room is fabulous.
white walls with a dark door. nice!
Love the drapes! Wondering if you could tell about them.

came over from Holly's blog. i absolutely love this room, what creativity and i feel like not enough good things can be said about how you picked your textiles, etc. so nice to meet you. Also - where in the world did you find this rug? i love it love it love it and totally get the first class ticket's worth of shipping on it :)
Hopping over after a mention on Bryn Alexandra's blog. I like how the room works for baby, but is sophisticated at the same time. Nurseries designed with all baby store products drive me nuts! The dhurrie is gorgeous (worth all your efforts) and the rocking chair is ... sweet (and I don't mean "nice," I mean "awesome")!
Thanks for all the sweet comments!
The drapery fabric is Robert Allen’s Aimee stripe in Greystone and the rug was commissioned from a dhurrie maker outside Jodhpur, India. I picked the colors and pattern from what he had available and he made the rug to a size I requested. The yarn was supposed to be more salmon (orange) and less Turkish red (pink), but in the end it works perfectly in the space!
